Week of May 17, 2015

This week we celebrated our last week of preschool for Katie!  We had lots of fun with bug themed activities.  We will continue our learning throughout the year especially with phonics, writing and math but, we ended our preschool year on Friday.  Katie will start Classical Conversations this fall as a pre-kindergartener.

Monday the big kids made a fun bug collage while the babies slept.  They used popscicle sticks, wooden hearts and construction paper to make a bug scene.

Tuesday Knox and Brex came over and the kids made ladybugs out of paper plates.  We also read Eric Carle bug books like The Grouchy Lady Bug and The Very Quiet Cricket.

The girls love their little piggies.  They give them treats from the fridge daily and pick them lots of grass and clover.  Caramel is not a fan of being held but, we can get Sugarpops out for the girls to play with.  Sugarpops is a super sweet guinea pig and the girls have lots of fun cuddling with her.

We celebrated preschool graduation with all the kids and all the mamas on Thursday.  The kids decorated graduation hats and a poster that told what they wanted to be when they grow up.

Knox wants to be a fireman when he grows up.

Audrey wants to be Happy when she grows up.

Selah wants to be Just Like Big Brother when she grows up.

Boaz wants to be an Excavator Man when he grows up.

Katie wants to be a Mommy when  she grows up.

Brex wants to be Lightning when he grows up.

The kids made some chocolate pudding cups with gummy worms to go with our bug theme.

Mrs. Naomi brought fun sunglasses and notebooks for all the kids as a graduation gift.  The kids looked so cute!
