I'm not sure what is going on but, poor little Audrey keeps getting sick. Two weeks ago it was a cold and this week she had a viral infection. We didn't get many pictures of the poor girl this week since she was fighting a fever and slept a lot but, as usual we had an amazing week anyway.
Katie started working on the letter L in her Handwriting without Tears book. By the end of the week she had it down. We practiced writing on paper, with chalk and in flour while baking.
The girls each got a doll for Audrey's birthday and they have had lots of fun dressing them up. We got a preemie onesie at a resale shop for $.99 and it fit the babies perfectly.
We also got a US map puzzle at the resale shop.
This was taken the first day Audrey started feeling bad. She wanted to cuddle with big sister so bad. We spent all day Thursday and Friday in the recliner cuddling with Audrey.
We are getting sugar snap peas! None of them have made it in the house so far...Katie loves them and snacks on them as she picks.
We started a Flat Stanley exchange with several other kiddos. Flat Stanley is a book about a boy who gets squished flat and is able to travel in the mail. Kids make their own Flat Stanley and send him to other families around the country and even around the world. The other families take pictures with Stanley and then send him back. This project helps kids see how other people live and how their daily lives are similar and different from others. We got a Stanley in the mail from a 4-year-old from Louisiana. Katie took him into the garden to pick mint. Then she headed inside to color her Stanley to send out.
