Week of March 25: Easter week

Hope you all are ready for lots of pictures!  But, hey I realize the whole reason you read the blog is to see all the pictures of Ms. Katie (and soon her baby sister).

Katie has got to enjoy several days outside this week.  Although a few of them were a bit cold for our liking Katie didn't mind.

Katie and I went to Knox's house for a playdate...Knox tried stealing a kiss or two.  Can you imagine Katie's thoughts on the subject?

Katie's sandbox is one of her favorite things to play in.  She loves finding the bigger pieces of sand which are really small rocks and is very proud to show them off.
Storytime was lots of fun this week!  The theme was baby chicks.  I was one excited lady and couldn't wait for Katie to get to see the baby chicks that Ms. Linda had brought.  Katie and I stayed after everyone left and got to really play with the chicks.  Katie loved talking to them, petting them and feeding them.

Katie and Knox both love helping out with chores around the house.  Last week they loaded the washing machine for me, which really came in handy because it's quite difficult for me to get those clothes in the washer with my big belly in the way lol!

Daddy has started working on baby sister's room and as always Katie is anxious to help.  Rich has put up the baby gate while he's painting and Katie is not too happy about that.  She'd love to be in there with him painting, too!

Katie painted Easter eggs on Saturday.  Her preferred technique was dipping her hands in the paint then, smearing paint on her eggs.

We also went to Rich's parents on Saturday.  Katie got to help Aunt Jody with the ducks and jump on the trampoline with Daddy.

Easter morning Katie opened our Easter basket which included princess themed toys and gardening tools.

We spent Easter morning with Grandmother and Grandfather where we enjoyed brunch and an Easter egg hunt.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house Easter afternoon.  Katie had another Easter egg hunt...

...and had a tea party with the Easter bunny and his friends.

 Other news for the week:

Went for another doctor's appointment.  The doctor said "it could be anytime".  So we're thinking within the next couple of weeks we'll have another beautiful girl to share with everyone!

Katie got Easter pictures done this morning.  We're very excited to see the pictures and share them with everyone.
