Despite the freezing cold temperatures, snow and ice we managed to stay inside all week and still keep busy and entertained!
We woke up Monday morning to snow! Knox and Brex didn't get to come over Monday or Tuesday because of the weather but, we made the best of it by making hot chocolate to drink with our breakfast. The girls got a huge tube of snow and played in it because it was too cold to go outside.
We spent a lot of time feeding the birds and watching them come right up to our back patio door.
We got out the science lab kit and experimented with baking soda and vinegar.
The girls played in their kitchen A LOT this week. Usually the kitchen is a pretty popular toy but, this week they have been cooking up all sorts of things and playing with it more than usual.
The kids also begged for some icicles from the back patio...can you tell Knox's hands were cold?!
Of course, Lillie was nearby, helping supervise (and hoping for a taste).
The girls haven't got to see Jack in awhile because it's been too cold to play outside. I've been taking care of Jack and the girls have missed him. So Saturday morning we brought Jack inside for some playtime.
The girls got out their playdough sunday morning and made cookies and cupcakes.
