This week we were able to get started on our garage room project. We're taking half of the garage and turning it into a room. When it's done it will be about the size of our living room. It will be so nice to have the extra space!
Baby girl went through a growing spurt this week. She ate and ate and ate...then she took over three hour naps. This is EXACTLY how her Daddy sleeps.
She looks like such a big girl coloring. She's starting to lay on her belly and play with her toys. She looks so grown up when she does that.
We hooked up her trailer to her little tikes car. She loves sitting in small spaces so this has been her preferred method of travel in the backyard.
Lillie prefers taking the driver's seat.
We grilled some more amazing steaks this weekend. Literally melt in your mouth delicious!
Gotta love Daddy kisses.
Going on a walk down the trail.
Katie has had so much fun climbing all over the stack of lumber Daddy has set up for the garage.
We enjoyed our playdate with Knox this week. These two little buddies got to fingerpaint. Knox wasn't too sure what to do at first but, after a little while he got the hang of it.
They looked so cute just playing around in their diapers.
Daddy and Katie reading the paper.
Katie played in the waterhose a few days this week. She went back and forth from her tub to the barrels, watering the flowers.
And for those of you who think Katie never cries here it is! She was very upset that all the water wouldn't stay in her watering can. In her defense it was very close to bedtime. Still this is such an adorable picture...cracks me up!
Can you spot the frog? There are quite a few frogs in our yard and gardens and Katie loves watching them. This one was a baby leopard frog and boy can he jump!
Storytime this week was teddy bear slumber party. Katie got to bring her teddy bear and wear her pajamas. Her teddy bear spent the night at the library and had a slumber party. We picked him up on friday, along with some pictures of what he did at night. Our library does a great job of creating ideas for the kids.
Katie has a friend at the library who's two. He loves talking and playing with Katie. After storytime he grabbed her hands and was dancing with her. They kept falling and laughing, then he would help her up and they'd start dancing again.
Grandmother and Grandfather came for a visit on friday. We got to spend a lot of time with them in the backyard looking at the garden and playing.
Katie and Grandmother swinging.
Grandfather and Katie sharing some strawberries and angelfood cake.
