9 month old doctor visit

Katie had her 9 month old doctor's appointment yesterday.  We were prepared for a round of vaccinations but, were pleasantly surprised to learn that she didn't need any more shots until 12 months...yippee!

Our little girl is such a sweetheart!  When Rich got her out of the car he put her hat on and she just leaned over and laid her head on his shoulder.  It was so darn cute!  Then she proceeded to take her hat off lol!

We didn't have to wait too long in the doctor's office but, while we were waiting Katie was entertained by using her Daddy as her own personal jungle gym......
and chew toy......
Isn't she just too darn cute?!
So here are Katie's stats from her doctor's visit

*Weighs 17.17 lbs which is in the 17th percentile (meaning 17% of babies her age weigh less than her)
*Length is 27.24 in, which is in the 33rd percentile
*Head Circumference is 16.69 in, which is in the 8.26 percentile.  That girl has such a pretty little head.
*She's eating the right amounts of food and formula and we can now add meat to her diet...except for eggs.  Last night she had chicken, wild rice and potatoes for dinner.  She ate the chicken first...she LOVED it!
*Doctor said all the development, eating schedules, sleeping schedules, etc. were "perfect" and that she was "perfect".  Well, we already knew she was perfect but, it is nice to hear the doctor tell you so.
