This week has been all about getting into a routine. Katie wakes up about the time Audrey eats her "breakfast" so after Audrey's bottle we're able to eat breakfast and get ready for the day. Rich has been staying on his night shift so we've both been able to get good sleep. There's been a few nice days that we've been able to play outside but the rest of the week has been cloudy and chilly so we're starting to get a little cabin fever.
They're building another house in the field behind our house. One morning Katie sat in her wagon and shouted to the men working on the house, "Run men, there's a dragon!"
Katie has been enjoying catching bugs. She sits by the patio door and picks up ants and other creepy crawlies.
Look at that beautiful little face.
Ms. Audrey is such a sweetheart. She's a very mellow baby and is perfectly content relaxing in her swing or wherever you lay her down.
Our first trip out of the house (besides the doctor) was to the library. Audrey slept through the whole experience. Katie, as usual, had lots of fun playing with her friends, listening to stories and doing art.
Papa and Tina got Katie and Audrey a double stroller...can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can go on some walks and take a trip to the zoo.
Relaxing with Daddy.
We've had a very stress free and relaxing week and are really getting into the swing of things. Rich has to go back to work soon but, until then we'll soak up the time we've got together.
