Our Week: Visiting Cousin T and Father's Day Part 1

Daddy, Katie and Lillie hanging out and watching Sesame Street.

My cousin Christina came in for a visit from California.  We hadn't seen each other since Christmas.  We met at our grandparents house and got to go shopping for an engagement ring for T, make dinner together and Katie and T and Aunt Pam got to spend some quality time with Katie.

Grandfather and Katie sitting in the backyard while the burgers cooked on the grill.

Katie ate corn on the cob at dinner.  We originally cut if off the cob but, she seemed to like eating it on the cob better.

The guys and their dogs passed out while all of us girls, including Katie visited.

Love this picture of all of us.

Knox got to come over and play all morning on Tuesday.  Katie and Knox got along great!  They did well sharing and playing together.  They played outside, made an art project and played in the kiddie pool.

Lillie found a turtle in the garden.  It was such a friendly little turtle.  Katie had a lot of fun watching it walk all over the garden.  She tried to say the word "turtle".  She kept wanting to hug the turtle but, I just let her touch it's shell...I didn't think the turtle would appreciate a Katie hug lol!

Katie took the camera and handed it to me.  She kept saying "cheeeeeese!"  She really wanted me to take her picture.

Thursday at the library was bat themed.  Katie made a bat art project.  She loves using glue and this bat had lots of it.

For Father's Day Katie and I got Rich his favorite coffee, Mystic Monk.  Well, Daddy accidentally found out about it a few days before Father's Day and we just couldn't wait to try the coconut iced coffee.  It was delicious!  Here's Daddy and Katie drinking away (Katie has milk).

Katie made an art project for her Dad for Father's Day.  We traced Daddy's foot and Katie's foot and Katie painted the cut outs.  Then we put them together with a poem about following in Daddy's footsteps.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's the day before Father's Day.  Here's four generations all together...my Uncle Gary, my Grandpa, my Dad, me and Katie.
