Daddy was on vacation this week and we had such a great time! Monday we started our vacation by having a nice lunch at Red Lobster to help celebrate Katie completing her first year of CC. Monday night the girls dressed up for the last CC event of the year. There were two many cute pictures of them together to filter through and pick just one.
Tuesday morning we had our poetry tea time. Daddy read a few poems out of our Shel Silverstein poetry book and we had bagels and coffee.
The girls love taking care of their baby dolls together.
We had planned on going camping starting Tuesday night but storms kept us home. It was a good thing we stayed home because when we got to the campground early Wednesday morning there were several large trees that had fallen due to the high winds.
We had a wonderful, relaxing camping trip. We ended up spending two nights and almost 3 days camping. There were tons of walking trails and little creeks to explore. The girls saw armadillos, lots of tadpoles and snails, birds, squirrels and tons of animal tracks including bobcat tracks.
There were some beautiful bluffs along a couple of the trails that were gorgeous but, they scared me to death! The kids and Daddy had no fear and went right up to the edge.
When Katie gets a hold of the camera...
We had poetry tea time sunday with a hot chocolate treat.
Sunday afternoon we got to see all our friends again (after lots of sicknesses) at Brex's birthday party.
These girls were way too cute together!
