We've had a lot of fun over the past two weeks...lots of outside time and learning new things!
Audrey has turned into a little bookworm. She is constantly bringing Rich or I a book to read. She recently learned how to climb onto the dining room chairs so she often looks at books at the table.
We found a ladybug and kept it for a couple of days in our ladybug house. The girls were excited about letting it go so they could see it fly.
We learned about sinking and floating at tot school. The kids made a boat out of foil and put items in water to see if they would sink or float.
When we got home we did some more sinking and floating with Daddy.
Last week we learned about frogs. We caught a tree frog that had come into our house. As you can tell Audrey was thrilled with the little frog.
Katie helped me make a yummy blueberry cobbler...while Audrey practiced standing on her head!
Katie calls this Sue Sewing from the Dr. Seuss book "Fox in Socks". She's lacing ribbon onto a dishmat.
We made a trip out to the zoo. It was pretty warm and by the end we were all worn out but, we had lots of fun.
This is at the end of the trip as we were heading out...poor girls were worn.
Audrey bringing Daddy another book to read. She loves turning the pages.
We had a frog sensory tub that we brought out several times during frog week. It had water, foam lily pads that floated and tiny plastic frogs.
Katie decided to try to plant Audrey haha!
Daddy made some amazing French bread!
Katie and Knox made a "First Day of Preschool" poster so they could take a picture on their first day. We're starting September 1.
Audrey decorated some paper, too. She loves being involved in everything big sister does.
We had frog themed tot school at our house last week. The kids jumped on lily pads that had different letters on them, read a story and learned the song "5 Little Speckled Frogs".
This is one of my new favorite pictures of baby sister...I mean how cute is that?!
The girls played with playdoh together. Audrey is out of the phase where she feels to need to put everything in her mouth.
