We've had another wonderful week filled with lots of activity! I've started selling thirty-one products and have been working on getting the word out and trying to book parties. Katie and Lillie have enjoyed playing outside...most times you can hardly get them to come inside!
Katie and Lillie had fun playing with the bags I got from thirty-one.
The two little troublemakers love playing in the new garden...and eating dirt.
I love Katie's face in the background.
We got Katie some wooden blocks. Her and Daddy played with them all afternoon. Daddy built towers and Katie couldn't wait to tear them down.
We tried a new recipe for refrigerator oatmeal...Katie gobbled it up, as usual!
Knox came over to play. He's going to be a big brother next week! Katie and Knox played with Katie's new dollhouse.
Katie and Lillie are inseparable. You can bet if you can't find either one of them that they're into trouble together. The other day I walked into Katie's room and found them laying on the floor eating cheez-its together.
Katie had some fun with art this week. She used her new stampers and markers that she got for Easter and her new fingerpaint.
There's been a turtle hanging around in our yard the past few days. Katie likes to watch him but she's not quite sure what she should do with him.
Katie got to have her first peanut butter and jelly sandwich this week!
I love pinterest, they have so many ideas that I use for Katie. Here's a simple fine motor skill activity where she puts straws through holes in a container.
Our baby birds have hatched, grown and now have flown away. Here's one of the babies the day they flew away. We had so much fun watching them grow up and Katie loved being able to see them everday.
Katie also turned 18 months this week...wow! Everyone has been asking what words she says so here's a quick rundown of all the words I can think of.
Daddy
hi
bye
done
bath
bubble
ball
no (she learned this recently because Lillie kept taking her toys lol!)
cup
eat
dance
Elmo
one
wheee (when she wants to swing)
She also knows animal sounds (moo, quack, meow, woof, baa, etc.)
She can tell you where her head, hair, eyes, nose, ears, belly, foot and toes are.
We have yet to dabble with finger paints. You are a brave momma...but, on that note I really should let my little gal try this outside the next time we have a nice day! Looks like you all have been busy:). And oh my I'm with you on the love for Pinterest. That site is fabulous!! Happy Sunday:)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure D would absolutly LOVE finger paints! Katie has been an "artist" for quite some time now and loves to draw, paint, color and finger paint. Honestly, it's not too messy. Nothing a wet washcloth won't take care of. I just put Katie in her highchair and turn her loose!
