Carving a Pumpkin

Katie got to help carve her first pumpkin yesterday!  Well, she didn't so much carve the pumpkin as she did take out all the insides and scoop out the middle of the pumpkin with a spoon.  We rolled the pumpkin into the backyard and opened it up then, we let Katie explore it and scoop out the inside.  She loved looking into the pumpkin and squishing the seeds and pulp between her fingers.  She also loved stirring the inside of the pumpkin with the spoon.  She's really into stirring things right now lol!

 She crawled around in the grass and picked the teeny tiny flowers in our backyard until Daddy brought the pumpkin out.

 She liked eating the pumpkin pulp.  We didn't let her eat too much but she really seemed to enjoy it.
