Easter

Katie was born October 20 so although she was with us at Thanksgiving and Christmas she didn't quite join in on the fun...you know what I mean?  Easter is our first holiday to spend with her where we can really see her reaction to what's going on.
We searched for about a month to find the perfect Easter basket.  We wanted it to be big enough to stuff it full and sturdy enough for it to last since we plan on using it year after year.  We finally found the perfect one at Pottery Barn Kids.
Her Daddy and I decided it would be fun to decorate it every year in Katie's favorite colors.  Since she currently doesn't have a favorite color we decided on going with the pink/green theme that's in her room.  Here's a few pictures of us putting on the ribbon.

After putting on the ribbon we put some teeny tiny little letter charms on the basket that spelled out Katie.....

Then Daddy had a brilliant idea-he put colored ribbon behind the charms to make her name stand out...

The best part was watching our baby girl opening her basket on Easter...

We got her a bunny book...
But I think she enjoyed the grass the best....

And of course Pops and Tina, Aunt Vicki, Grandma Sue, and Grandmother gave her some Easter goodies, too!
