Our Week: Daddy's Impromptu Vacation

Rich had a chance to change his days off...so he took it!  He will now have the weekends off, yay!  So in order to change from Sunday/Monday off to weekends off he got to take a few days of vacation.  We had a fantastic week playing with Daddy!

On Monday we went to a gymnastic center in town with our MOPs group.  Katie got to play on all the equipment and she loved it!  We met the owner and her daughter.  The owner's daughter took Katie all over the gym and let her try out all sorts of equipment.  We're thinking about signing Katie up for a class.

Rich has been working on my grandmother's old bike and of course Katie has been right in the middle of it, helping out.

This is Katie's bouncy seat from when she was a baby but, now she uses it as her chair.

We went on a trip to the zoo and had such a good time.  They have two new jaguar cubs in the rainforest that we were able to see.

Poor Ms. Lillie got spayed on monday and has had a hard time recovering.  She really hurt for a few days and wouldn't eat or drink.  Then, she opened up her incision and had to have it stapled and now has to wear a cone.
Daddy got to go to the library with us on Thursday.  Katie loved having her Daddy there to help her with crafts.

Poor Lillie and her new cone.

Katie loves Lillie and doesn't understand why she doesn't want to play with her like she usually does.

This picture was taken last week but, I had to post it.  My brother came to visit!  He got to go with Katie to the library and we all spent the morning together.  We had a great visit, even though it was a short one and Katie warmed up to her Uncle Benny very quickly!

We went to the Oxley Nature Center today for a Bug Class.  Katie had a fun time learning about bugs, making a bug craft and walking on the trails.  Brandon, Knox and Julie got to go, too!
